Ticiano Rocha

Born in João Pessoa - PB (1982). He studied composition with Eli-Eri Moura (Brazil) and Virgílio Melo (Portugal), in addition to taking part in masterclasses with Manuel Hidalgo (Spain) and Beat Furrer (Austria). He also completed the Soundtrack course taught by David Tygel.
He has been working as a composer since 2004 and his works have participated in several festivals and concerts in Brazil, Portugal and Mexico.
Of particular note are the Contemporary Brazilian Music Biennials in Mato Grosso as well as the Contemporary Brazilian Music Biennials held in Rio de Janeiro. In this case, the work Digressão de Força was awarded in 2015 .
Professor of the composition and theory at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, he is also a member of the Musical Composition Laboratory at UFPB – COMPOMUS.
